Good news everybody! We’re back for another episode! This week we’re talking about a few of those random repo shows. The premise is that you follow along with some guys who are taking back cars that people didn’t pay for. This means that the average person starring on the show is broke and mismanaging their money. More often than not that means they’re prone to violence. Add in the fact that these repo guys don’t use kid gloves and you get some fireworks. Also I ramble off a bunch of new shows I’ve been watching and half I recommend. Episode 44
After a 2 week hiatus we are back. Originally we wanted this episode to come out right with the first episode of Wilfred for the US audiences but we fucked that up pretty well. There was a lot of stuff going on that held us up and the car took a good chunk of time and money from me. I’ll put up another walk through video so you can see the progress on the car thus far. Episode 43
Hey everybody, it’s your host Ari. A few words about the two episodes we owe you. I’m sorry to the fans who are waiting to hear me complain about stuff and yell at my co-hosts but some small issues popped up. The CouchIsland crew went on a small road trip to get some perspective on life and get the new CouchIsland wheels up and running. It was a little too busy to get an episode recorded and put up for you so we decided to delay until we could get a quality episode out for you.
I’ve been in a solid relationship for so long my bachelor instincts are all but gone. Don’t get me wrong. I’m still a virile young buck; I’ll catcall women until my throat is hoarse and bloody. I just don’t really remember all those simple 30 second microwave recipes I used to survive on. These days if my girlfriend is away I just stare at my pantry and fridge and wonder what madman invented so many close-to-but-not edible products.
On this episode of CouchIsland we’re checking out why swamp shoes are getting so popular. I’m thinking it may be that people are just sick of the forests and mountains. Either way there’s more than enough of these shows and I figure we should break them down. Episode 42
This week we had to flip flop with last week. If we’re talking about stuff that now has no bearing on your life, well that would have been true anyhow. We’re talking about some of the original video game to tv transitions. The earlier Sonic The Animated Series was better known as Sonic SatAM because it was always on Saturday morning cartoon blocks. The Super Mario Bros. Super Show was another steamy pile of crap that still gets me nostalgic. It has both live action weirdos doing bits, celebrity appearances, and a sweet animated section the kids were on board for. We round stuff out with Viva Pinata. The game is a pretty addictive little farming game I lost my girlfriend to for a while….
Hey everybody! I got drunk and changed some things and blew up the website. I’m sure all 5 of you guys who actually visited are devastated! I’ll fix it and have us running in a day or two. To CouchIsland.com 2.0. A new day dawns.
